Cassia are a Manchester based band who’s signature sound is a wonderful indie-rock fusion. Their writing style is quite commercial for an indie band which we love, there’s nothing that beats a well written lyric at the basis of any track.
Self described as a band that makes “summer music”, these boys have got a knack for cultivating feel good tunes from electric guitars and some soft rock drums with a good old indie-style male lead vocal. There’s definitely a hint of Blondie in there too (circa 1981).
