Artist: LCAW ft. Sophie Ellis Bextor
Stands out: Funky bass, Clean production
If you like: Sophie Ellis Bextor
If you were a 90’s kid and you listened to the radio (or ever left your house, really) then you’ll know who Sophie Ellis-Bextor is. Well you’ll at least know her infamous song “Murder On The Dancefloor”.
We were so excited to see that Sophie is featured as the vocalist on LCAW’s newest!song. We absolutely love his stuff. With millions of plays on YouTube, LCAW is one of the kings of the remix community online, we knew this would be a hit before we even listened.
‘Hummingbird’ has more of a pop sound than the majority of LCAW’s collection. It features funky bass synths and tight drums which is totally on trend right now.
We loved how clean the vocals were on this song, not only does it make for a fresher sound but it’s also refreshing to hear a track from an EDM artist that doesn’t dim the feature artists talent by drenching the vocals in unnecessary plugins.
LCAW’s unique blend of pop and dance music has gained him support from the likes of ODESZA, Martin Garrix, Robin Schulz, and Felix Jaehn. He has also turned in acclaimed remixes for the likes of London Grammar, Parov Stelar, Asaf Avidan, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Marlon Roudette, ZHU and many others.
