The Habits – Ghost

Artist: The Habits

Song: Ghost

Based: Los Angeles

Stands out: Keeps you on your toes

We love this energetic indie-pop song from Los Angeles based band The Habits.

Starting out with an almost eerie vibe before progressing to a more powerful alternative sound, one could incision a music video shot in the Wild West, especially in combination with the deep and raspy lead vocals.

Just as you think you can see the dark place the track is heading, an upbeat chorus jumps in with that signature indie-pop sound. The verses have a little more of a soft rock vibe.

Here’s what the bands team had to say about the tune:

“Ghost” has an underlying energy that is unassuming but ever-present. A tale of a past life that you can’t shed, “Ghost” hits you with a power that you can’t quite describe – much like that of reconnecting with your past. As soon as you think you have it all figured out, life throws a curveball your way. This is one of those songs you just can’t get out of your head.
