Today we are really excited to be doing a little piece on one of our favourite up and coming acts Tree Thomas.

You may have seen him on the blog before but today we wanted to give you a real taster of his latest EP ‘Kingrove’ which was released this year. We hope you love it just as much as we do. See below to hear our three favourite songs from the record so far.

‘Shotgun’ is a semi-chilled track with singing elements from Tree which, combined with his trademark rap, makes for a very punchy and catchy track. We’d compare the signing to Chris Brown in terms of tone but the voice is still very unique.

‘Only’ has a classic hip-hop sound with modern trap elements.

‘I’m Sorry’ is probably our favourite piece from Tree Thomas. We felt that the song conveyed a really strong emotional feel which we haven’t previously heard from the up and coming artist.

Taking influence from the well known song ‘Pony’ by Ginuwine, Tree sings a heartfelt chorus which adds a catchy hook and emotion at the same time.

One thing we really love about Tree Thomas is that his visual imagery is always on point. With a collection of fantastic music videos, an ON POINT Instagram page and a clothing line of his own, we think this guy might be all over the radio some time soon.

Check out the awesome music video for ‘I’m Sorry’ below.
