Gregory Dillon – Painted Blue

Artist: Gregory Dillon

Song: Painted Blue

Based: NYC

Stands out: 80’s elements

If you like: Electronic soft pop

‘Painted Blue’ is a new track by under-the-radar artist Gregory Dillon. It was written as he looked out at New York City from his apartment window which we can totally hear. It has that fresh NYC vibe to it.

The angelic vocals and ethereal synths on this track make for an icy, smooth and wintery vibe. The added 80’s reverbs add to this.

At first the beat that comes in in the first verse caught us a bit off guard but by the time the chorus starts it completely fits. We would say this sound is somewhere between Allie X and Taylor Swift in terms of production.
