The Aces – Volcanic Love

Artist: The Aces

Song: Volcanic Love

Based: Utah

Stands out: Raspy vocals, organic pop sound

If you like: Haim, Gabrielle Aplin

This track is a new pop song from Utah based girl-band The Aces.

We loved the raspy vocals alongside the guitars. It’s really refreshing to hear a pop song made of organic instruments like the old days! (And by the old days we mean the 2000s) – we dig it.

There’s the same type of girl power vibe going on here that Haim give off so if you like them then you’ll definitely want to check this lot out.

‘Volcanic Love’ is the band’s very own timeless love story. It’s music video, Co-directed by Nico Poalillo and drummer Alisa Ramirez pays homage to some of the world’s most iconic love stories like The Great Gatsby, 500 Days of Summer, Heathers, Accross The Universe, and Comet, while also giving fans a taste of The Aces’ world. The theme of “Volcanic Love” focuses on romances that, due to their toxic nature, burn with passion as universal resistance only fuels them more.
